What should Arabic restaurant software do before you buy?
The demo looks tidy until someone adds an Arabic modifier or asks whether the delivery connection works in your country. Find out before installation whether the cook can read that modifier and your outlet can receive those orders.

Nexara brings orders into your kitchen in Arabic. It is a restaurant order and operations platform built in Amman for the Arabic-speaking Middle East. Country-specific aggregators and local e-invoicing are unsupported; Talabat and Careem activation requires partner approval in your market. Start by discussing your branch with the founder on WhatsApp.
What needs to work beside your till?
If a phone order stays on paper or an aggregator modifier gets missed during retyping, the failure happens before the kitchen can prepare the food correctly. Follow an order from acceptance to its kitchen ticket. Check whether staff have to copy any part of it.
Nexara sits beside the till as the order and operations layer. Its branch order board brings together phone, website, installable app, table QR, Talabat and Careem orders. Each branch has one order queue, and new orders appear on open branch screens. Kitchen tickets and receipts print; kitchen display screens are not provided.
For phone orders, entering the caller's phone number brings up saved addresses and past orders. During acceptance, retrieve a returning customer's record and confirm the delivery address against their history. The call center is a Pro-plan feature.
For multiple branches, Nexara provides a shared catalogue with per-branch availability. Test marking an item unavailable at the branch that has run out while keeping it available elsewhere. Review the Product by Branch report with the area manager to check that they can find the item's sales by location. The Nexara ordering and operations feature catalogue details these workflows.
Does Arabic work on the ticket, not only the menu?
An Arabic language button proves very little by itself. Right-to-left text must remain readable when a line contains an English product name or a phone number. Test the customer's ordering page and the staff workflow, then inspect the physical receipt.
Nexara has an Arabic and English dashboard and storefront. Its thermal tickets carry readable Arabic and English together, including Arabic item names and modifiers. Use your longest menu names for the following checks on the printer your cooks will use.
| Check | What to put in the test | What to inspect |
|---|---|---|
| Right-to-left layout | An Arabic order with an English item name | Readable text direction and clear field labels |
| Kitchen instructions | An Arabic modifier and a preparation note | Instructions remain attached to the correct item |
| Numbers | A phone number and a decimal amount | Digit order and decimal placement |
| Physical printing | The same ticket on your actual thermal printer | Connected Arabic letters, line wrapping and legibility |
If your cooks read different languages, agree which wording each station needs before configuring templates. Nexara supports Arabic and English print templates assigned per printer. For table QR ordering, check that the printed ticket carries the correct table number.
Which aggregator connections work in your market?
Nexara's Talabat intake includes incoming orders and cancellations, with status updates and catalogue mapping. Careem food-order intake also handles driver information, item replacements and scheduled orders. Ask to see the functions your branch uses during service.
Get written confirmation naming the country, outlet and partner account approved for connection. Check that the outlet points to the correct Nexara branch. Then run an order with a modifier and a cancellation, and compare the marketplace record with the branch order board.
Check Careem Food availability for your city separately from Careem Express. Food-order intake receives marketplace orders; Careem Express dispatches delivery orders placed through your restaurant's own channels. Write down which service you need before requesting approval.
Nexara is built in Amman, Jordan, and its live deployments are in Jordan today. The platform can run elsewhere with a browser and the Windows print agent. For an overseas branch, bring the outlet details and intended hardware to the initial discussion.
Use the Talabat and Careem order intake details to distinguish marketplace intake from own-order dispatch. The Saudi Arabia restaurant software guide and UAE restaurant software guide cover country-specific purchasing checks.
Will checkout and currency fit your country?
Nexara storefront checkout supports cash on delivery or pickup and online card payments through HyperPay when the company enables them. Dine-in orders are paid at the counter. CliQ is not a storefront checkout method.
Before launch, have the payment provider confirm merchant approval for your legal entity and the accepted payment methods. Record the customer checkout currency and settlement currency, then test a payment and refund through the proposed setup.
Nexara has no ZATCA certification and does not support JoFotara e-invoicing. For Saudi Arabia, have your accountant and fiscal-system supplier document the required invoice workflow and who is responsible for it. For Jordan, have them verify the separate JoFotara workflow. An Arabic kitchen receipt alone does not establish tax compliance.
Nexara has a free plan plus paid plans per branch in Jordanian dinar, with current rates on request. Its branded ordering website installs as an app from the browser. Nexara charges no commission on orders from that website, app or call center. Payment processing and courier charges remain separate, and Talabat and Careem retain their own commission on orders they bring.
What happens when the printer or internet stops?
Nexara supports standard ESC/POS thermal printers over USB or network. For a branch rollout, plan for a Windows computer beside the printers and confirm the actual printer models. Bluetooth printers are not supported.
Tickets can route by product category, so a printer receives the categories assigned to its station. If a printer fails, the ticket waits in the branch's print queue. Staff can re-route categories from the dashboard, or a configured backup printer can take over automatically.
When the branch loses internet, orders keep arriving in the cloud and printing catches up when the connection returns; the order board itself needs a connection. Keep a phone hotspot available for the printer computer.
Include a disconnected-printer test in acceptance. Restore the connection and check that the waiting ticket prints once. Have the shift manager practise sending the affected categories to the backup printer, then check that the printer computer can use the hotspot. The Nexara printing and connectivity FAQ explains what staff can do during an interruption.
How should you approve a regional rollout?
Turn the test results into a launch decision with named owners. Nexara support is available through WhatsApp and email on Amman hours, in Arabic and English. Issa Al-Dalu, Nexara's founder, answers support himself. Agree how those hours fit your service schedule.
- Attach the country-specific partner approval and outlet-to-branch mapping to the launch record. Name the person responsible for any pending approval.
- Collect the signed acceptance results from the branch manager, including receipt samples and any unresolved faults. Mark each fault as a launch blocker or an agreed follow-up.
- Get written confirmation of the proposed plan's included functions and branch scope. Kitchen printing and QR dine-in start on Growth; call-center access requires Pro.
- Assign responsibility for payment onboarding and fiscal compliance. Keep merchant approval and the accountant's workflow sign-off with the launch record.
- Name the service-shift contact and the person authorised to postpone launch. Agree which channels can open, which remain closed pending approval, and when the branch will review its first service.
Approve the branch against that record rather than a general demonstration. A working storefront and an approved marketplace connection are separate launch decisions. Keep pending channels out of the staff's opening instructions until the responsible person confirms they are ready.
What to remember
- Test Arabic on the actual kitchen ticket, including mixed-language text.
- Check caller history and branch-specific availability in the workflows that need them.
- Approve local payments and fiscal requirements separately from Nexara's JOD subscription.
- Keep partner approvals and named launch responsibilities in one branch record.
- To check your branch's fit with Nexara at nexaratech.io, use the WhatsApp button below to send the founder your country, required ordering channels and printer model.

Nexara handles ordering and operations beside the till. It brings orders onto a branch order board and prints kitchen tickets, while the cashier records the day's net sale at close for reconciliation.
Can I use Nexara outside Jordan?
You can run the platform with a browser and the Windows print agent. Bring your country, outlet details and payment requirements to the founder so the proposed setup can be checked before rollout.
How do I check Talabat integration for my outlet?
Get written confirmation identifying your country, approved outlet and partner account. The approval should match the outlet-to-branch mapping in your launch record.
Can Nexara print Arabic on my existing printer?
