The Nexara dashboard home: what an owner sees at 9 am

At 9 am, the kitchen printer may still be jammed from last night, a complaint may be waiting for an answer, and one branch may have an open ticket. The home screen shows where to look before lunch orders arrive.

The Nexara dashboard home: what an owner sees at 9 am

Nexara is a restaurant order and operations platform built in Amman, Jordan, for restaurants and multi-branch chains. Its dashboard brings the live order queue, Bloub, channel activity, branch views and reports into one bilingual screen. It sits beside the till, so owners can act on orders and review operations without replacing the cash register.

What appears on the dashboard home?

The home screen brings together current orders, order sources, branch activity, reports and Bloub. Use it to confirm the correct branch, find open exceptions and choose the report or customer record that needs attention.

Nexara is the order and operations layer beside the till. Orders from the call center, website, installable app, table QR, Talabat and Careem can arrive in one live queue. The cashier still records the day's net sale at close for reconciliation. Visit Nexara for the platform overview.

How do you check the live queue before service?

The Live Orders area shows the current state of orders for a branch. Statuses include awaiting payment, pending, confirmed, preparing, ready for pickup, out for delivery, delivered, cancelled and refunded. Search and filters help you find order history when a manager asks what happened to a particular ticket.

Check for orders that should have been completed overnight, a cancelled order that needs a call, or an order still waiting for action. Live Orders handles current work. Order History helps you investigate an earlier ticket.

The dashboard connects incoming channels with branch review, kitchen printing and follow-up work.

Tickets print in the kitchen on ordinary ESC/POS thermal printers, including Arabic and English on the same ticket. If a printer is unavailable, the order remains on the board and waits in the queue. You can re-route its categories from the dashboard, or use a configured backup printer.

The dashboard itself needs a connection. Orders keep arriving in the cloud queue while the connection is down, and the printer catches up when it reconnects. There is no offline cash register.

For a deeper screen-by-screen explanation, see the Nexara live order board.

Which channel needs your attention?

Start with the source of each open or unusual order. Channel activity lets you compare the source, status and branch before you open a detailed report.

  • Website and installable app: your branded ordering channel, with 0% commission on your own orders.
  • Call center: phone orders where a Pro-plan agent can look up a customer by number, saved addresses and past orders.
  • Table QR: dine-in orders connected to a table session, with pay-at-the-table options.
  • Talabat and Careem: partner orders received into the same queue, subject to each partner's commission and activation rules.

Open Reports when you need channel comparisons, failed orders, call-center activity, website performance or delivery information. Customer records stay attached to orders, so a channel review can lead to customer history rather than a disconnected total.

Nexara's own website and app orders are commission-free. Talabat and Careem keep their own commissions on the orders they bring.

How does Bloub fit into the morning routine?

Bloub is Nexara's assistant for questions about your restaurant's own numbers. From the dashboard, you can ask for a sales summary, branch performance, channel breakdown, cancellations, top products, peak hours, printer status, inventory alerts or open complaints. Its answers include citations to the underlying dashboard information.

Bloub also provides a morning brief and reads overnight changes through six detectors: demand shift, item trend, basket anchor, regulars gone, price change attach drop and ops friction. Open the cited report or order detail before changing a menu or branch process.

  1. Ask what changed overnight.
  2. Review the cited report or page.
  3. Check the affected branch and date range.
  4. Assign a follow-up when the issue needs action.
  5. Return to Live Orders before service gets busy.

Bloub can open a dashboard page and prefill a form, so a question can lead to a task. Read the Bloub AI assistant guide for examples of questions owners ask.

Which reports should an owner open daily?

The dashboard links to report tabs across orders, products, customers, channels, delivery, money and operations. Choose the tabs that answer yesterday's operational questions.

The cashier reconciliation report belongs beside the till, not in place of it. Nexara records order and operations information; the restaurant still follows its own cash-closing procedure.

What is a sensible daily dashboard routine?

Use this routine to move from open exceptions to the details behind them.

  1. Open the dashboard and confirm you are viewing the correct branch or company.
  2. Scan Live Orders for anything pending, cancelled, failed or unexpectedly open.
  3. Check channel activity for an unusual source or sudden gap.
  4. Ask Bloub what changed overnight and review its cited pages.
  5. Review the reports that match yesterday's close, especially orders, products, customer issues and cashier reconciliation.
  6. Assign the follow-up in the complaint, feedback or NexaraFlow task page that owns it.
  7. Check printer status before lunch. A printer problem is easier to fix before service than during it.

NexaraFlow can hold recurring timed tasks such as morning inventory, daily inspection, branch orders and escalated complaints. It is a Pro-plan feature.

What to remember

  • The home screen starts the day with Live Orders, channel activity, Bloub and reports.
  • Use the live queue for current exceptions, then use reports for yesterday's patterns.
  • Bloub points you to changes in your own numbers and can open relevant dashboard pages.
  • Nexara works beside the till, with Arabic and English printing on ordinary ESC/POS printers.
